Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Quiet Verse ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Use of the App
Quiet Verse is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the App to:
- Record personal Bible reflections and notes.
- Organize and search your entries.
- Share your own content with others.
You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm other users.
User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
- You agree not to upload or share content that is offensive, unlawful, or infringes on the rights of others.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of the notes, reflections, and any other content you create in Quiet Verse. We do not claim any rights over your personal content. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
If you delete your account, your content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Intellectual Property
All elements of the Quiet Verse app — including its design, interface, branding, and underlying code — are the intellectual property of Quiet Verse and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Quiet Verse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiet Verse and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quiet Verse operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
